After being together until the wee hours of the morning for a wedding or to close down The Owl Bar, you would think that we wouldn’t be all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at Sunday Brunch the next day…
If you thought that, you would be wrong, especially when we have another bride to shower, our very own Jennifer Kochesfahani. We even got all dressed up, too (sorry yoga pants and lazy Sunday).
Our Director and Lead Planner recently married her sweetie Clay in Charleston, South Carolina at The Gadsden House, however, more to come about that at a later date. We are still currently gushing over her shower. In case you can’t wait, here is a teaser… we promise you southern fare, al fresco dining, Persian-flare and surprises all along the way!
Our Sunday Brunch began with mimosas upon arrival and mingling. The Belvy’s were introduced to Jennifer’s mom Aubrie and Jennifer’s mother-in-law-to-be, Cathy. Yes, we berated Aubrey with questions about how Jennifer was as a child and egged on any embarrassing moments!
As we sat down, in true Belvedere & Co. Events fashion, every setting had a place card and a gift bag filled with Southern-inspired chapstick, hair ties and a little truffle for dessert.
We were served family-style crepes and pull-apart babka as our chef-inspired first course, accompanied with delectable cinnamon chocolate dip. Our second course was a tasty nicoise salad and we were given the option of a club sandwich, Egyptian -spiced chicken salad, huevos rancheros, or an omelet for our entree. Finally, our fourth course boasted a sweet treat of irish coffee chip ice cream.
After the food, we positioned our girl front and center and showered her with gifts! There was laughing (and crying) and too many pictures as she opened every perfectly wrapped present!
We are so excited for Jennifer and Clay and were so thrilled to shower her! Scroll below to see more of our perfect afternoon!
